TRAINING

SDCADVSA provides Law Enforcement, Advocacy, Coordinated Community Response and other domestic violence and sexual assault trainings.


SDCADVSA partners with member programs to bring training to their communities.

Here, SDCADVSA, along with the Sacred Heart Family Violence Center/Women’s Shelter and the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Family Violence Services and Tribal Courts, co-sponsored a Law Enforcement training for local tribal police officers, detention officers, and women shelter advocates.

Pearl Gulbranson, Education Specialist provided the two-day training called “Law Enforcement Response to Domestic Violence: Keeping Women and Children Safe” to over 20 participants, which was held on Oct. 13 - 14, 2007 at the Main Youth Center in Eagle Butte, SD.
